José Ruy Queiroz Antunes

Founder

Senior executive with over 30 years of experience in commercial, market strategy, and finance areas. Antunes was one of the key executives responsible for introducing the German software giant SAP to the Brazilian market. As Commercial Director (3 years) and CEO (9 years), he was responsible for establishing SAP as the undisputed leading provider of application software for the "500 Largest and Best" companies in Brazil (across all industry segments). Before SAP, he was also the CEO of Dun & Bradstreet Software.

 

Antunes has solid knowledge and experience in bringing foreign technologies and developing strategic plans, brand management and positioning for the Brazilian market.

 

He is also a Board Member and/or Mentor for medium and small technology companies, both independently and through Endeavor, where over the past 15 years he has contributed his experience and knowledge in mentoring companies and entrepreneurs in sales, marketing, brand development and market strategy areas.

 

Antunes is fluent in English and Spanish. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the State University of Rio de Janeiro and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Moraes Filho University.

Partner

Graduated in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ), Mário worked for 28 years at Accenture, 14 of which as CEO in Brazil. He joined Accenture in 1976 (formerly Arthur Andersen) and became a partner in 1986. He led the Consumer Products Group until 1990, served on the company's Global Board, and led projects for clients such as Grupo Pão de Açúcar, Sadia and Vale, among others.

 

He was CEO of Rio Bravo Investimentos from 2009 to 2018, after four years as Director of Equities. In this role, Mário helped create and manage the Rio Bravo Fundamental FIA, Rio Bravo's value and activism fund.

 

Mário has been a member of several advisory and administrative boards of companies, including Eternit, Unipar, Ferbasa, Cremer, Bematech, and GR. Currently, he is an advisor at Focus Energia, Global BDP, and the Maverick Investment Fund in Israel.

 

Additionally, Mário collaborates with various non-governmental organizations. He served on the boards of the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra and the Committee for the Democratization of Information Technology (CDI). He chaired AME Campos (an NGO in Campos do Jordão) and was president of the Jewish Federation of the State of São Paulo, the Latin American Institute of the AJC - American Jewish Committee, vice president of the Brazil-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry, advisor at the Albert Einstein Israeli Hospital, and president of CIP - Congregação Israelita Paulista.
